Hi, I`m Kajsa Kjellström Kinsella, originally from Sweden, living and working in county Wicklow, Ireland with my three lovely & lively children since the summer of 2001.
Having grown up in a very creative home as the child of Tord Kjellström, inventor, architect and former head of design IKEA Sweden, and given free range to explore and develop my creative abilities in his multifaceted work shops from child to adult, I have forged quite a colourful career in many creative ways through writing, designing, photography, journalism, website build, content creation, styling, retail, product development, branding and non-profit management. I have written two books Nordicana & Sew Scandinavian and co-written another two; worked as a ceramic designer and pattern/textile designer for Louis Mulcachy and others; contributed to and worked with large international magazines such as Country Living, Good House Keeping and Prima Magazine as inhouse photographer and creator of craft and food tutorials. This has given me a wide experience in creating both visual and written content. My career as publisher began as I was appointed editor in chief of a UK publication called Scandinavian Makes, then followed the creation Self Starter Magazine and through my position as COO of AUNUA Academy, I published AUNUA Living Magazine. To the detriment of my waist line, I also ran a small (far too delicious) Swedish bakery business called Sweet Somethings...
I work closely with Dr Daithí Ó Murchú as creative director on various international projects involving developing the 21 Century Artistic & Creative literacies with students and have led the Creative Schools Initiative in design and journalistic literacy with DWEC. I have collaborated with Dr. Ó Murchú on www.biomebiouyou.eu from the onset in all areas of media delivery, CPD and CPA in schools. In cooperation with Irish Department Of Foreign Affairs, Minister for European Affairs Mr. Thomas Byrne and Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire, we recently created BioMeBioYou Magazine, celebrating Commemorating Europe Day 2020.
Although my path towards creating Second You might not have been a straight one, I have to say, I wouldn`t have it any other way. Everything I have learned along the way, both good and bad has given me a "finger feel" and an instinct which is second to none when it comes to truly dive into the mind of you, my client and, ultimately into that of your customers. I truly enjoy being a part of the path a business, organization or service takes towards developing its confidence and claiming its success.
